BaliHoneymoon.com was founded by Olivia & Dirk in 2020. While it originally just started as a blog where we shared our personal tips on Bali for couples, over the years it turned into a full-service boutique travel agency with a local team in Bali, organizing unforgettable honeymoons for couples.

Olivia
Olivia co-founded BaliHoneymoon.com with Dirk and manages the local team and relations with local partners. She moved to Bali 8 years ago and has a background in sustainability. She loves Indonesian food, writing and organic farming.
Dirk
Dirk co-founded BaliHoneymoon.com with Olivia and is responsible for the website, honeymoon packages and anything technical. He's been living in Bali for 7 years and loves all water activities, as well as driving his scooter along the rice fields.
Ratih
Ratih works as Travel Planner at BaliHoneymoon.com and enjoys creating meaningful and memorable experiences for couples in Bali. She is curious and thoughtful, and loves building genuine connections with people. In her free time, she enjoys cafe hopping, spending time with dogs, and reflecting on life’s experiences.
Rila
Rila is travel planner, customer support and and assists with itinerary design at BaliHoneymoon.com. She splits her time between the city of Malang on Java Island and Bali, and enjoys discovering hidden gems around the Bali when she is here.
Mitha
Mitha is our HR Expert and proudly Balinese. She handles recruitment, HR administration, and talent development. In her free time she spending time at the beach with her family and enjoy explore new cafes in Bali.
Angela
Angela is BaliHoneymoon.com’s virtual assistant, supporting the team with various tasks, including administration, travel planning and itinerary design. Living in the city of Batam, she keeps her energy up through her love for gym workouts and relaxing moments by the beach.
Osa
Osa is a proud local Balinese who manages our social media channels. She enjoys soaking in the island's natural beauty and exploring the underwater world, always sharing the magic of Bali and helpful tips with our couples through social media.
Kenza
​Growing up in Denpasar, Bali, Kenza naturally fell in love with travel and culture. But her creative side goes way back, she’s been making digital notes and editing layouts since elementary school. Now a student and our part-time Website Content Editor, she takes that lifelong passion and uses it to build clean, engaging, and well structured web content.
Abi
Abi is a Social Media Marketing Intern at BaliHoneymoon.com, where he helps the team create engaging content and share unique experiences in Bali with couples around the world. With a background in English Education and a strong interest in digital marketing, content creation, and graphic design, she enjoys exploring Bali in her free time to discover new places and gather inspiration for future content. Outside of work, he stays active by playing korfball and basketball, which are his favorite hobbies.

Hi Lovebirds! We are Olivia & Dirk, the couple who started this website and travel agency. Dirk is from the Netherlands and Olivia is originally from Sumatra in West Indonesia. Together, we have been living in Bali for over 8 years, and we fell in love with the island.
Olivia moved to Bali for work after finishing her studies in Australia in 2017, and Dirk visited Bali in early 2018 with the plan to stay a month or two. After meeting Olivia, he decided to stay in Bali for good!
We have lived in both Canggu and Ubud. Beyond that, we have explored literally every corner of the island - we know all the secret spots, especially the romantic places that are great for couples on a honeymoon!
We are both very fond of traveling. Olivia has been to over 75 countries, and she writes about her travels in Indonesia on her blog and in a book she published.
Beyond Bali Honeymoon, Dirk runs an earthquake tracker website and developed a software tool to monitor Google rankings (SEO). Nowadays, however, most of his time is spent on BaliHoneymoon.com.
Together, we have visited around 40 countries on all six continents together. Our favorites include Guatemala, Georgia and New Zealand. But we always return back to Bali! We love to arrange travel itineraries for ourselves, finding flight deals, discovering good value accommodation and fun activities. If you want, you can let us organize your honeymoon!

10 Years Married, Best Trip Yet!! Thanks to Olivia, Dirk & the Whole Team!! Olivia & Dirk have been the most incredible people to work with for our 10th wedding anniversary trip to Bali! From the very first exploratory call, they took the time to understand what vibe we want from our trip, what sort of experiences we are inclined towards, and then took us through all of Bali using a map and sharing the high and low lights of each region in Bali. Once we finalized the itinerary, Ratih & Rila made sure we had everything sorted before we flew out.
Once we landed, we were greeted by Dewa (amazing guy) who drove us for the next 8 days. In the car, we got some cute gifts from the team, a fully printed booklet with our itinerary for the trip along with recommendations for food and activities for each of the places that we were staying at. I needed to book a restaurant for dinner and I simply messaged the team and forgot about it and in the next hour the team sent me the booking confirmation.

It was a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. We stayed at two beautiful resorts, had two massages, a flower bath, a floating breakfast, rode ATVs, went snorkeling, explored rice fields and temples, watched a traditional fire dance, and had a lot of great food.
