Bagi mereka yang menyukai petualangan, mendaki saat matahari terbit di Gunung Batur sangat sepadan dengan pemandangan puncaknya yang spektakuler, sementara mereka yang lebih suka sesuatu yang lebih santai dapat menikmati retret tenang di salah satu eco-lodge dan resor mewah di area ini dan bersantai di pemandian air panas alami. Bagaimanapun, setiap momen di sini terasa istimewa dan kami yakin Kintamani akan memberikan Anda pengalaman bulan madu tak terlupakan yang Anda impikan!

Tentang pendakian matahari terbit: meskipun ini adalah pengalaman yang indah, tempat ini memang ramai. Anda kemungkinan besar akan mendaki bukit dalam kegelapan bersama setidaknya seratus orang lainnya, bahkan lebih ramai pada hari-hari sibuk. Anda akan selalu ditemani pemandu lokal dan perlu membayar biaya masuk taman. Pemandu lokal Anda akan menyediakan helm dengan senter dan biasanya menyajikan sarapan sederhana di puncak gunung. Bagi para pecinta kopi, ada banyak hal menarik juga di Kintamani. Wilayah ini memiliki perkebunan kopi sendiri, dan banyak coffeeshop keren di punggungan Kintamani yang menyeduh kopi lokal Kintamani. Beberapa favorit kami termasuk Ritatkala Cafe, Akasa, dan Paperhills, namun bagi Anda yang mencari cita rasa familiar, kini bahkan ada Starbucks di sini.

Satu aspek dari tradisi kopi lokal yang perlu Anda ketahui adalah Kopi Luwak, diseduh dari biji kopi yang sebelumnya dicerna oleh hewan Luwak. Anda akan menemukan kopi ini di banyak tempat wisata di seluruh Bali, namun ada pertanyaan yang muncul seputar kesejahteraan hewan.

  This is our number one recommended activity to do in Kintamani. Mount Batur is an active volcano that attracts adventure seekers and nature lovers to go hiking. It is the most popular activity to do as hikers reach the summit for a stunning sunrise reward.

  If you want to do the sunrise hike, you can either stay overnight in the nearby town of Batur for a more relaxed start or arrange a night pick-up if you are staying in other cities like Ubud, Seminyak, Kuta, etc.

  When planning the trek, make sure to wear warm clothes (it’s cold before sunrise),hiking shoes, a flashlight or headlamp, and plenty of water.

  Also, if you don’t want to hike but still don’t want to miss out on the stunning sunrise views, there is a more relaxed option where you can use the Jeep tour instead! This allows you to comfortably reach the summit with less time and without the physical effort of climbing as you your body might get sore and tired if you do.

  However, it’s important to note that this trek is quite popular, and the trail can get busy, especially during peak tourist seasons. The best time to go is during the dry season, from April to October, as the rainy season often brings clouds that can block the sunrise view and make the trail slippery.

  There are multiple hot springs you can choose between, they are only a few hundred meters apart. We believe Batur Natural Hot Spring (Google Maps) is the nicest for couples, but Toya Devasya (Google Maps) is a great option too. The latter has some slides and thus attracts a bit more families.

  A great option is to combine the Hot Springs with a sunrise hike up Mount Batur. You would have to leave your Sidemen hotel early in the morning, around 3AM. Many other people do the same, so the Hot Springs tend to get crowded early in the morning.

On the top, a spectacular sunrise awaits you: slowly the sun will rise and reveal a spectacular landscape overlooking the Batur crater, Mount Agung, the Lombok Sea, and (on clear days) even Lombok Island and Mount Rinjani. After the climb, enjoy a well-deserved relaxation at the natural hotsprings bordering Batur Lake.

  The region Kintamani, where Mount Batur is located, is famous for it's coffee plantations. On the way back, the tour will make a stop at a coffee plantation before dropping you back to your hotel.

Cara menuju Kintamani

Tidak ada transportasi umum menuju Gunung Batur. Kami sarankan memesan transportasi pribadi jauh-jauh hari. Meskipun dimungkinkan untuk memesan taksi melalui aplikasi seperti Grab atau Gojek dari Bali Selatan ke Kintamani, arah sebaliknya tidak berfungsi, karena Kintamani berada di luar jangkauan area aplikasi-aplikasi ini.

Kintamani dan Gunung Batur terletak cukup jauh dari bandara, sekitar 2-2,5 jam jika tidak ada kemacetan. Meskipun Kintamani biasanya tidak memiliki masalah lalu lintas, area di sekitar Bandara Bali memang sering mengalami kemacetan. Sebaiknya Anda menambahkan waktu ekstra dalam perjalanan kembali ke bandara agar aman.

Sidemen juga bisa menjadi pilihan menarik, sebuah desa yang tenang dikelilingi oleh sawah, letaknya cukup dekat dengan Munduk.

Lovina adalah kota kecil yang terkenal dengan pantai pasir hitamnya dan suasana santai. Tempat ini paling populer bagi mereka yang tertarik untuk menonton lumba-lumba atau bahkan Anda bisa berenang bersama mereka juga! Karena Anda sudah cukup jauh di utara, mungkin ada baiknya juga untuk mengunjungi Lovina.

Ubud adalah salah satu kota populer di Bali yang dikenal dengan suasana artistik dan kancah budaya yang semarak, adalah pilihan lain yang tak kalah menarik. Sangat layak untuk dikunjungi karena sawah teraseringnya, galeri seni, dan tempat retret spiritual. Ini adalah destinasi selanjutnya yang tepat jika Anda memang berencana untuk melanjutkan perjalanan ke selatan.
